Music

I believe music has a unique power to connect people, breaking down cultural and language barriers. You can often understand a person’s spirit through the music they enjoy.

My own musical journey began with the sounds of Bally Sagoo, Backstreet Boys, and Bombay Rockers—favorites for many 12- and 13-year-olds growing up in India in the late ’90s and early 2000s. When I was 15, a friend, who knew a DJ, introduced me to house music. Generously, he shared his collection of 100-150 CDs, filled with house tracks. That music became my companion through high school, helping me stay focused and think more clearly.

In college, a friend of a friend recommended I try trance, particularly Armin Van Buuren’s A State of Trance, suggesting that trance was even better for studying. I gave it a shot—and he was right. Since then, my taste has evolved into what I listen to today: deep house and trance.

I enjoy long sets over single tracks, as they allow my thoughts to flow without interruption.
